How to play Cricket 07 with a friend

This limited Beta has been tested with two isolated Chrome instances on one computer. Different-device, different-network play has not been certified. Use the multiplayer launcher to check availability.

Prepare and invite

  1. Both players need desktop Chrome and working WebGPU. Prepare the complete Regular resources. Solo play still starts with on-demand Lite.
  2. Enter a display name and create a room. Copy the invite link to your friend yourself. They open it, prepare their resources and join.
  3. Both players choose Ready. The host starts the game. Assign the two controller icons to opposing teams; the unused keyboard icon can stay in the middle.

Controls and local data

Tested October 29, 2026: a five-over Exhibition in two Chrome profiles on one computer, with manual input and native Autoplay assistance. This does not certify different-network play.

Online input follows the original controller layout. S selects and performs the basic batting or bowling action; Backspace goes back. Arrow keys move your local pad. Esc opens the native pause menu and may first leave browser fullscreen. The browser toolbar ends the online session, while native Resume continues it. Keyboard controller buttons are S = A, D/Backspace = B, A = X, W = Y, Q/E = shoulder buttons. Use the game’s controller help to identify the running and shot actions in the current mode; the single-player keyboard guide uses a different mapping. Physical controllers are not certified.

Online sessions start with fresh, temporary game data. They never replace solo native saves. Closing or refreshing cannot restore an unfinished online match. Export solo saves from the home launcher before clearing browser site data.

Connections and limits

A direct WebRTC connection may reveal each friend's network address to the other. If direct connection fails, room relay is used. No paid TURN is enabled. Keep the game tab active. A short interruption can reconnect within 15 seconds; longer interruptions end the match.

Beta capacity is two simultaneous rooms, ten new rooms daily and 60 minutes per room. Availability can be reduced or paused. Full rooms, unavailable service and budget pauses never prevent single-player play. The room's region is a placement hint, not a guaranteed data center or latency.

If a room fails

Reload both pages for a version mismatch, prepare Regular again for missing resources, and create a new room if the previous match has started or expired. Use single player while new rooms are paused. Report the browser, displayed error and steps to support; do not send game files or credentials.
